F*** it.

by 396SS, May 04, 2007 12:00AM
Okay, don't mean to offend anyone, but this is the best way to describe it.  A friend of mine was very anxious about what others thought of her and she has not had that anxiety or nervousness lately.  I asked her how/why she is not anxious (because she is going through a divorce) and she said "because I finally just said 'F*** it'"  She said she decided that she doesn't care what people think anymore, she only cares about what makes her happy and what takes care of her.  I know it's not the nicest way to put things, but sometimes, there is no better way.  I get tired of sugar coating.

So it's Friday people!  F*** it!  Enjoy your weekend.

Great advise, I'm trying my best to implement the F**K it advise & I honestly think its the best way to go......so many times that I want to just switch off but I get pulled back...I'm trying to just get to the essence of that feeling....to just not worry & whatever happens happens.

May be 1 day at a time or even 1 hour at a time, but hopefully it will work.

cheers & thanks for the good advise.

I'm glad nobody has been offended (yet:)  It's true though, the phrase just represents letting go of your worries.  Of course, my highly religious friend has molded it into a different phrase of "I'm over it!"  which does the job just the same.  Whatever works right!
