thanks for the feedback. i think my symptoms are anxiety. it's really annoying, like today for instance i was just sitting in class and i felt my heart beating pretty hard and a little faster. and i got hot. i was about to leave the room, but just kept deep breathing and then it went away. the thing is i have pretty much nothing to be stressed about...so i don't know why i would feel the need to panic. which also makes me wonder if it is something else.
What has your doctor said? Health anxiety is VERY common here in this forum. I think the first problem you said is you were 'frantically' searching for symptoms to relate to your pain. My original bout with anxiety came from concerns about my heart. Despite what my doctors said, I was sure they must have missed something. In my opinion, when we are worried about our health we can become oversensitized and even misinterpret our symptoms. For example, I still feel pain in my chest periodically, can feel skipped beats, and sometimes just have weird feelings....what does it mean? It means I am pretty much like everyone else, but when I was going through this, every one of these sensations was a cause for alarm in my mind. Have you recieved in counseling to learn about your anxiety?
Yes it could be anxiety. Sounds like a classic panic attack. Talk to your dr to rule out anything physical.
