Do many of you who have Severe Panic Disorder or GAD often feel like they are going to pass out? I was at a function in which I stood up and became dizzy. I am unsure if this feeling prompted a panic attack because after I sat back down I felt as if I were going to pass out. My head became tingly and I felt cold. I also became nauseated. This lasted for about 30 minutes until I finally forced myself to get up and walk out of the function early. Once outside I felt better other than being hit with the shakes and some tears. Then this morning while drinking coffee I suddenly got hit with the feeling again I was going to pass out. This time it only lasted for like 2 minutes. I should note that this morning I do have a headache. So what do you guys think? Anxiety or something more?
You describe very typical anxiety/panic symptoms. Of course, it never hurts to have a once over with your doc if you haven't had a physical within the past year especially, just to rule out some of the more common causes of your symptoms.
