Getting off Effexor

by Pat1206, Mar 31, 2008 11:27AM
I have been on 75 mg of Effexor for some time now and asked my physician if I could be taken off the medication .  I t think the medication was making me feel tired.   My doctor gave me 37.5 mg for one week and now I am totally off of the medication.  I am experiencing like brain shocks, nausea and various other problems.  How long do these complications last after getting off the medication?

I got off Effexor about a month ago and I also had the brain shocks. I got them when I would turn my head really guick or stand up. They lasted for a couple weeks.
