Getting scared.

Had to go to the ER yesterday...I have a kidney stone the size of a grapefruit trying to pass. ANyway...I was in alot of pain and the ER doc gave me Dilaudid which did help. Was there for 6 hrs..they sent me home and since about 5pm yesterday I feel like I am on edge, jittery and have no patientce.
What am I going through? Is this withdrawals from the drugs? If so how long does this last? I cant seem to think straight and dont seem to care about work, fun or anything else. Acutally..I'm kinda scared...I dont feel in control and cant keep my thoughts straight. Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't know and have no experience with the drug that they gave you. I suggest calling your doctor and telling him your symptoms. See what can be done for you. Another option is to call your pharmacist. they are a weath of information of side effects and can also tell you if what you are feeling is normal. Hope you feel better soon.
