Is your doctor tapering you off JUST the Xanax or the KlonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer as well? I got a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys confused there, sorry.
Niravam IS Xanax. The ONLY difference is that it comes in an orally-disintegrating wafer and works about 5 minutes faster than a regular Xanax tablet.
If your doctor has you down to 1mg of Xanax and you are still having "breakthrough panic attacks," perhaps he is prescribing the Niravam for THOSE TIMES ONLY rather than increasing your daily dose of Xanax and making your withdrawl even more difficult. The Klonopin, when it reaches a steady-state in your body, will totally replace the Xanax and control your panic/anxiety and is much easier and SAFER to withdraw from than Xanax.
Please speak with your doctor again about the use of the Niravam.
Peace
