It is a blessing in disguise for sure, just hate that my company is telling me how to live my life. Ah well....
I am in the US :o)
If you pass waistline later and the others come in good you will actually have the test to thank instead of curse. Since the test is now unavoidable, perhaps that should be your goal in order to maintain a happy outlook on the inevitable. Best of luck in passing.
This paragraph is just for amusement if you don't live in Canada. You didn't fill in all your profile, so I don't know where you live. If in Canada like me, keeping to a healthy salt level is very difficult because we are the most oversalted people in the world. Many years ago the manufacturers ranked all the countries and unfortunately decided Canadians were the hungriest for salt. The result is if GM makes Cheerios in one plant for Canada and the other for US consumption, they push the "max salt" button for our formula. Even if a manufacturer wanted to use less salt, Canadians would not eat their product because the taste would be considered "off", since our palates are constantly conditioned to high salt. Our corrupt government, in a sign of the times, has been studying the situation for 7 years and pretends there is nothing they can do about it.
Ummmmmm... I meant I cut out caffeine and I am taking Zoloft. :)
So far I passed on blood pressure which surprised me really. I have been dealing with high blood pressure but I guess cutting out caffeine and Zoloft has helped that. I failed the waistline which wasn't a surprise but that's what Weight Watchers is for! The other three - cholesterol, triglycerides & blood sugar I won't know until I get the results....
Luckily this was only a jumping off point. I have 9 months to make sure I pass 3 of the 5 so I don't get charged the surcharge.
Sadly...this is just the beginning as we're losing more and more freedoms by the day!
And to everyone out there, it's time for workers to organize against these rank invasions of privacy. We should be judged by our work output, not anything else.
So how did you do in the test?
