Well my OB doctor wanted me to try taking birth control pills for 1 month i said no thanks that would give me more anxiety so they said there's really nothing they can do if i don't want to take b/c pills so they said to go and get some natural herbs to take and see if that helps.i went on this websight  i think it 's www.hotze.com anyways he talks about taking natural or maybe some kind of shots to help u with ur hormones.SERIOUSLY the symptoms that i get from having hormonal imbalance is the same exactly as anxiety .mammo i will call about seeing a Endocrinologist is that a specialist if so than i have to get a referral from my doctor i'm sure she is sick of me calling asking for referrals all the time.Oh well if she doesnt want me to keep bugging her she better do it.lol   idk i seriously think this is more f hormonal problems thats probably why the anti meds didn't really work for me cuz doctors like to do that oh u have anxiety so take this anti.idk i'm just saying. Thanks to both for responding.Take care

Hormones play an important role in our mental well being.  You can have these checked by an Endocrinologist.  Men go through Andropause just like women go through menopause, and have many of the same symptoms and this is treated with testosterone.  As men age it's important to keep a check on the testosterone because as it declines, it can cause brittle bone disease as well.  Women have the option to take HRT, but it's an individual thing as we each has to decide for ourselves by weighing the pros and cons of HRT.

I agree 100%.  That is why I like that women's site.  I have been saying this for months that for me at least I think my hormones are off and that is contributing to my anxiety.  I am not saying it is the bottom line cause of it but it is definetly a major factor.

You are not alone....There are many of us that are going through the same thing.
