Thanks I will keep this in mind. I am going to get my lab stuff done friday and it will probably be at least a week before I get the results. My pdoc said it was not a side effect of my medications. I am taking some vitamins, but not biotin. I will see so far the hair loss has not been extreamly bad. I use to have such thick hair when I was younger, and it just seems to get thiner and thiner with age...it is a little depressing.
Yes and meds for depression anxiety cause hairloss. The biotin 5000 helps. Im 40 thin hair and very thin for my age all blood tests ok and getting so thin front sides i had to have a new type hair added to mine where they crochet 4 hairs to one to add volume. Its short term expensive ... Ive had about two years of the problem ... I had to add mens rogaine BUT dont cuz when u stop more sheds.. Losing hair alone added to quadruple my stress. I would start multivitamin and biotin 5000 and give it 3 mos to see results. Follow up bloodwork also. Good luck!
They want me to go get some lab work done too, not sure what all they are going to test for though. As far as I know they keep checking my thyroid and there is nothing wrong with it....
My pdoc said today hair loss could be a symptom of anxiety.
Absolutely. Stress definitely causes hair loss. I have been taking Biotin 5000 mcg 1 tablet daily (from a healthfood store) for a few months for this. It really helps.
I am having alot of stress, and it seems for me alot of stress leads to anxiety. I know a couple people who have broke out in some rashes because of anxiety, but I never have.
Yes...along with about 100 other maladies over the years...
My doctor says so many things can cause this...to try not to fret..it isn't severe..may be connected to rosacea condition in a weird way...but triggers include emotional stress...so.....
