Has anyone faced any "therapist horror stories"

How did you survive it? I had a school counselor who would try to diagnose me with everything (maybe you have bpd, maybe you have OCD, maybe you have ADHD) and then when I told her the diagnosis I had from my doctor (PTSD, psychosis) then she would try to dismiss it and re-diagnose me. She would also tell other students my very specific problems and then get angry / yell at me when I told her I don't want medication.

This has stopped a year ago, but I found out she does the exact same thing to other students. And the school doesn't do a thing about it. Have any of you faced this? What did you do about it?

This is a common problem especially with psychiatrists -- less usually with psychologists.  On the other hand, your doctor might be completely wrong about your diagnosis as well -- psychosis cannot be diagnosed by a regular doc and PTSD is often wrongfully diagnosed.  If you're psychotic, you might not even know you're ill, so maybe you just wrote the wrong thing.  Right now, because of the new diagnostic manuals, which are based on selling pharmaceuticals and getting reimbursement from insurance companies, OCD, bipolar, ADHD, and PTSD are way over diagnosed.  The way you survive it is by laughing about it -- you know what you're feeling.  And then you find a different therapist.
