Has anyone felt these symptons before?

About 1 and a half years ago I started feeling chest pains. It got so bad that I went to A&E one day and got checked up with heart monitors. The doctor advised that it is likely stress related with too much caffeine consumption. I cut out caffeiene and try to relax more and felt a bit better for a few weeks. Then I started feeling dizzy most of the day. I would feel like I was about to fall over at times. Again I went to A&E one night and they did the same tests. The doctor said it might be an inner ear infection and gave me Betahistine. I took these and it didn't really make me feel better completly, but seemed to stop me from feeling like I was going to collapse.

About 4 weeks ago I started feeling quite bad again. I have the feeling thar I can't feel my arms and have to pinch them to make sure I can feel them. My face feels like it can't really move as well and have to smile to confirm it can. Basically, everythinf does work but I get it in my head that they don't. I went to the GP and advised that I get these feelings and she done a few stroke tests and gave me Betahistine again. I took these for 2 weeks and seemed to feel better but rhe next day. I got a blood test too and it came back fine. The next day after being signed off, at one point I felt panic waves going up my stomach and chest and my legs. When I walk sometimes it either feels like I'm being pulled to the ground and loosing my balance, or that I can't lift my legs over a certain height (even tho I can). Sometimes, very suddenly, I get the feeling that if I begin to move or continue to walk I'm going to fall over (a kind of stuck on the spot waiting to collapse feeling). Tonight, I was one a date and we drank a coffee. I was sitting down and suddenly started to loose concentration on my eyes (nothing went blurry, it was just I couldn't concentrate on anything) followed by my head going blank for a few seconds and then the panic waves going through me. I stood up suddenly, explained to her I was feeling dizzy and we walked outside. When I get outzide the waves started  to calm down but my legs felt like they were going to give way anytime I stood still. I just had to end the date there, very awkward haha, and walked for the train. The walk to thr train, and whole journey home on the train, I had the same problem with being able to concentrate with my eyes, feeling like my face wasnt able to move and feeling like I was about to fall over and that my legs couldnt go up high enough to climb stairs (tho they could - just the feeling that they couldn't).

Sorry to write so much, but has anyone had these symptoms? Does the panic waves through the body sound like a panic attack (I didn't feel like I couldn't breathe or that I had problems in my chest)?

Any feedback would be great as I'm starting to avoid doing things in case I take a turn.

Thanks,
Johnny

Hey johnny

I'm sorry to hear about your issues, and I'm sorry to say that what you had experienced seems to me like a panic attack. You should immediately have yourself checked. Don't worry this is very treatable.  There are numerous treatments to choose from. You should also start learning meditation and proper breathing exercises. I hope you get better soon.
