Has anyone here taken Lexapro ?

I have been taking lexapro 10mg for about 3weeks now. At first I was really tired and now I can't sleep at night but my anxiety has practically went away. I would like to know what other's experiences have been in taking this. Is it effective? Are you also on birth control? I think my anxiety is caused by taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I have taking Lexapro for 2 years now, at first, i had similar symptoms you are describing, sleepless nights, dry mouth, stressed out jaws, upset stomach...however, they all withered away a couple of months into the tratment and now practicly gone. I am a male so I wouldnt know about birth control.

I take lexapro with loestrin fe birth control as well as my medication for diabetes.  So far, if anything I am getting better sleep and overall feel better than I have in years.  My anxiety hasn't competely gone away, but my depression has greatly improved.

I took it for 4 months or so. Didn't really do much for me I don't think. I def. did'nt like coming off of it. Withdrawls were kinda sucky.

Hi. I've been on lexapro for two months and wellbutrin. I take Loestrin FE as well. I feel a lot better. I was really depressed on Ortho Cyclen birth controls...my doctors said that's a common side effect
