Head Pressure/Dull Ache

So idk if any other panic sufferer gets this but lately in the last 2 weeks I've had this weird head pressure that causes me to go straight into panic attack mode full blown short of breath all that simply bc this "pressure" I'm 30yo guy and I've never really dealt with sinuses so to say so my Dr and everyone else say it's a bad sinus or tension headache but my mind makes me panic when I think of it. The feeling is weird it's that of like pressure behind my eyes and on the crown and back of head like my head is "exploding" it's not a pain or even that bad of an ache it's like a dull ache and pressure just pressure that makes me freak out then I'll get slight pains in back of my neck and then the attack starts. Idk how to get my mind back to thinking look it's just tension headaches or just a Headache period. The exact thing is pressure/dull aches in forehead, cheek bones, behind eyes, the ache/pain is on the back of my head and my ears do ache and pop CONSTANTLY! I'm just curious as to if anyone gets these symptoms too and if so how do you beat them. Bc whenever I start panicking over them I assume oh no it's Annurisim or Tumor and my Dr has said that those are RARE especially in a family with no history of them. I just get freaked out bc I know I'm OCD over my health and I have so many attacks bc I sit and wonder when will another hit I just want my life back. I was doing ok until this head stuff started then t halted all progress I've made simply bc of head pressure & headaches which any "normal" person would just shake off and I say "normal" as in person with no panic attacks or anxiety. But me being a panicker I think I'm dying oh no what do I do and all this. No my pillow does suck lol excuse my language but my pillow in bed is horrible so maybe it's finally catching up to me. I can go about my day even with the pressure in my head but soon as j let my mind wander to it and think of it I freak out and think my brain is bleeding or I'm dying. I've never had a seizure, fainted or anything never taken a major blow to the head but yet this pressure is driving me nuts it's like my brain is pushing outward if that makes sense. Anyway thank you for reading and I hope to talk to someone soon!

Phildo2004.  I have experienced something similar to what you are describing.  This was only once but I'll get back to that.  I felt as though my brain was swelling inside of my skull and it didn't have any room to grow.  This occurred when I had a pretty serious concussion skateboarding and fractured my eye socket on a set of stairs.

Once I was describing the feeling of pressure and my friend said, "Oh, that what a migraine headache feels like to me."  SO, this shows that some of the symptoms that make you feel like there might be a tumor or something could also be caused by something as minor as a headache.

I have sinuses, but certainly no anxiety linked to them.  Also, I rarely get headaches but have had a few sinus headaches that portray a similar, though less intense, set of symptoms.  Hope it works out.  Oh yeah, try sleeping without a pillow. I DO have neck issues a lot of the time and sometimes that helps me discern what is causing the soreness.  Trust your Doc until another one says otherwise.  Take care and best wishes - Brett
