I have had anxiety off and on for about 2 years now. I don't take any medication, and don't want to. My doctor prescribed Avitan for times when I'm having a major attack and I cant calm down. Mainly to help with the racing heart and panic symptoms. I've only used it 4 or 5 times in the last 2 years. For the most part I can control my symptoms. I have been somewhat successful at calming myself down and talking myself out of my anxiety fits. I still have them, most days, and they still get in the way of me living a normal life, but I am beginning to take over the control of them.
This being said, the one thing that I can't seem to make better are my headaches. Like right now, I have a mild dull pain in the lower back of my head and my neck. My temples are also achy. I took Ibuprofen about 4 hours ago and just took some Tylenol about 15 minutes ago. I even drank a little caffeine because I heard that helps alleviate headaches and migraines, and also makes the medicine work faster.
Does anyone get headaches with their anxiety and if so how do you fight them. I know there are lots of creative ways out there to treat headaches both with and without medicine so I am looking for some ideas.
Thanks a bunch,
Crystal
