PVCs are a harmless but anxiety causing problem.  In the normal heart they are harmless.  But for myself they cause extreme anxiety.  They are not caused by a virus.  They can just happen for any reason.  I have been told that most of the population has them but only some people can actually feel them.  They cause huge anxiety for me too.
