Heavy Head

Hello,

I have had the heavy head feeling in the back of my head for about 2 weeks now. It feels like I've been weraing a tight cap. I have no other symptoms at all. My blood pressure is excellent too.I just started taking haedache medicine today, even though my head is not hurting, it just feels heavy. I noticed that when I start walking or running, I don't feel the heavyness. Also, when I start concentrating on talking to someone, it goes away too. I feel a litttle sharp pain in my left leg throughout the day, but I don't know if that is a seperate issue. *Bad thoughts start flashing in my mind throughout the day, but I try to block that out. Can anyone relate to this? Thanks,

Jay

Thank you so much for your reply. I'm having blood work done wednesday just for a checkup physical to make sure everything else is good. How long did yours last, and what did you do to treat it? This is my 3rd week now.I do feel a little better when I rub my head. I also feel a fast sharp pain behind my ear bone.

This is a very common anxiety symptoms. You call it the feeling of a "cap". But lots of people refer to it as a tight rubber band around their head. I get this feeling sometimes and even sometimes, I feel like sunglasses are sitting on my nose, like a nasal pressure. Anxiety is weird. It will pass with time. :)
