Help with anxiety disorder and DR

Hey my names shelby I've just turned 17 and Ive had anxiety and and anxiety attacks  for about 6 months now and I had my first panic attack from marajuana and since then it hasn't really gone away and i have frequent 'episodes' or derealization I was just wondering if anyone has managed to overcome this? I've been taking l-theanine for the pas two days  and still going out and stuff trying to not let it beat me but every now and again it comes back and seems to be even scarier then last time and lingers for a few days is there anything you know that could help me? Also my friends all still smoke marajuana and I was wondering if just being round them when their smoking (I've stopped now) would make it worse aswell? Sorry for all the questions really could do with some help after an attack I find it really hard to leave the house again and it's effect my college work. Any advice is good advice

I think what's going on here is that you had a bad experience and post-reaction to the drug, and now every time you go near it your brain remembers it...so it causes even more anxiety.

Do you think a lot? Lots of negative thoughts? You need to let go of them...every time you start to think about "what ifs", or "should" type thoughts, I want you to think of something else.
For example: If you start to think " What if I see my friends smoking marijuana...will I have another attack?"  I want you to stop thinking about it right away, and start thinking about bunnies jumping in the clouds...or some other "cute" thing. Stop thinking and do something else...clean house, brush your teeth, go for a brisk walk...anything to take your mind off of things.
If you start to feel an attack coming on, I want you to look around you...notice that there is no imminent danger...recognize what the attack is...it's just a feeling, it can't hurt you. Your "fight or flight" switch is stuck in the on position. Tell it to stop/go away...that you no longer wish it to hold you hostage.
It's your thoughts, your worries, that are mostly doing this to you.

I have been on and off pills, been to psychiatrists, doctors, psychologists, etc for many years ...nothing seemed to help...and then, one day, I decided that enough was enough.
I went to the library after someone else on this site suggested that I read
" Self-coaching The Powerful Program to Beat Anxiety & Depression" by Joseph J. Luciani, Ph.D.
I thank that person ( although I can't for the life of me remember who it was that told me) and I hope that it works for you too.
