High Anxiety Kind of Day!!~!

I everyone...I am posting because I am having a high anxiety day.  I stopped taking Lexapro about 9 days ago because I am allergic to it.  I am going to the dr to get a new med tonight but I am back to feeling like a can't breath and I have so much gas in my chest that I keep thinking I am having a heart attack.

I was on my way to the dr on Thurs to get my new med but got rear-ended by a 23 year old drunk driver (by the way it was 6:15 pm)....I am fine and so is my car and the kid got arrested but I think that might be what triggered my anxiety again.....My 3 year old twins are now sick and I think I am just not coping well.

I don't know what she is going to put me on tonight but I hope that it is something that will work for me.   Thanks for listening.....

You've been dealing with a lot, and I'm glad you weren't hurt in the accident!  You have a lot on your plate, anyone would be anxious. I hope the new medication works for you, you need to catch a break!  Just keep reminding yourself that your heart is fine and you've been thru this before and came out just fine.  I know it's easier said than done, but positive thoughts don't feed the anxiety like fearful ones do.  Hope the twins get better quickly, and you start to feel better.  Take care and keep us posted!

Wow, what weird night.  let us know what kind of med your dr placed you on. Good luck with your twins - that is alot of work and stress right there. I hope you start feeling better. My dr. put me on zoloft and after about 4 weeks I am starting to feel better. God bless.

She put me on prozac.  So I am going to give it a try and see how I do.  

I was in the er last night with one of my twins.  She had a fever that went from 101.7 to 104 in a matter of a half an hour.  She is better now but needless to say it was a rough night for me.  Talk about stress!!!
