How long should I wait to drink alcohol again after I stopped taking meds?

I just recently stopped taking Prozac and it was 10ml and I stopped taking them 4 days ago. How long should I wait for it to be safe for me to drink alcohol again?

Nor am I a doctor, but Prozac does stay in the system longer than most antidepressants of its class -- about a month.  But it was probably safe to drink while one it as long as you didn't drink more than a drink.  For most people the drinking part is because of two reasons, one of which might still apply:  first, drinking can intensify the drug and the sedation from the drug, which isn't good.  Second, people suffering from anxiety and depression often find those conditions just don't go well with the down aspect of drinking and the disorientation it causes.  So if you had any problem that required Prozac, I wouldn't ever drink a lot.  (Sometimes there's a third reason, but I don't think it's true with Prozac -- most drugs are liver toxic and so is alcohol).

how long have you been taking the prozac? If its less than a year drink bro. Take it slow. Enjoy the buzz. stop if you feel yourself getting irritable or agitated for no reason. If you do, do something that makes you feel better. You wouldnt want to get into a drunken rage right after getting off your meds.

Really though, i wouldnt be too concerned with the effects of alcohol. Ive got a relative taking prozac, and she drinks alcohol in moderation. So i know its not fatal.
