I can only speak for myself, but my antidepressant refills over the years have usually been for months of them unless I was looking to change prescriptions. Is she seeing a psychiatrist, or a regular doc? Some primary care practices charge for refills, but when you're staying on the same med for the same problem and not changing dose, there's usually no reason to go in that often. It's not a controlled substance, as benzos are, so again, usually pretty easy to just call in for your refills.
