IF you have a prescription from your doctor, take the medication exactly and only as directed on the bottle. If you have dosage questions, as the above poster said, see your doctor.

Years ago, my doc told me that I can take up to 4mg/a day but I tried to stay low if i didn't need it. I was very fine with xanax and helped a lot until 4 weeks ago when b/.c of going cold turkey with Omeprazol, Xanax could not do its job...basically I cannot say what happened that my anxiety was so high and the doc recommended Lorazepam. From this swich I experience a lot of unpleasant symptomps....hope it helps.
