First off calm down take a deep breath and try to relax..
Now lets think of this in a rational way ( by the way I can't spell) anyways...
think of what the doctors have told you.. all good stuff right?
as much as you believe you are dying, try to believe that you are not..
here a question..
do you wear high heels alot?
have you ever considered that maybe its just muscle spasms??
you sould research muscle spasms..and see what it says..
Like i said just calm down an breath.. it's gonna be just fine, you are gonna be just fine!!

Hello.    I have your same problem muscle fasciculations all over the place. I have been to Dr's and Neurologist and they have found nothing. Doctor says this is one of the many symptoms of anxiety. I can remember when it first happened to me I freaked out because I thought I had some terrible neurological disorder and that I would be wheelchair bound  for the rest of my life. That was 19 yrs ago. I am still here walking and talking. But I still get the muscle twitches. But I try not to look at them and they don't bother me. I hope this helps. Get well soon. Treeman

Concentrate on treating your anxiety....or you will be stuck in this cycle forever.  You've already wasted too much of your precious time chasing illnesses you do not have.  Trust what the doctors are telling you.

IT IS ANXIETY.

I have to agree with nurse on this one.  I have muscle spasms all of the time.  Remember to trust your doctors and focus on the real source of the problem here...anxiety.

Have you tried to add magnesium and postassium supplements to your diet, either by food or vitamin?  I am telling you that is made a HUGE difference in my muscle twitches.  I still get them, sometimes a lot but no where NEAR as much as I used to.  Also, calf twitches are usually a sign of electrolyte imbalance.  My dr told me this because I had a constant one in my right calf that sounds similar to yours.  Once I added potassium supplement, that one pretty much went away.  The constant adrenaline rushes you get when dealing with anxiety deplete your body of its natural nutrients because it is always in fight or flight mode.

Believe me, I understand what you are going through because I am still dealing with muscle twitches and it heightens my anxiety every time.

Another thing I wanted to point out.  The onset of ALS is 90% of the time between the ages of 40-60.  YOU ARE 18!!!!!!  That would be one for the medical books.

God bless and I hope this can set you a little bit at ease.
