I THINK IM GONNA HAVE A HEART ATTACK IN MY SLEEP

HI MY IS KIERON IM 20 YRS OLD . I HAVE A VERY BAD SLEEP PATTERN AND DONT GET ALOT OF SLEEP BUT WHEN I DO SLEEP AFTER LAYING IN MY BED FOR HRS TRYNA SLEEP I WAKE UP FOR NO REASON PANICING THINKING IM HAVE A HEART ATTACK MY HEART STARTS RACEING AND MY CHEST TIGHTENS UP AND MY ARMS GO NUMB. AND I JUMP UP AND DEN LAY BACK DOWN AND FALL BACK ASLEEP SOMTIMES I CANT GO BACK TO SLEEP CAUSE MY HEART IS PUMPING SO FAST .EVERONE I SPEACK TO SAY THAT THIS AINT NORMAL AND I MUST BE STRESSED BUT I DONT THINK I AM STRESS . I WANT TO KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENING AND IS THIS UNHEALTHY AND CAN IT END UP CAUSEING A HEART ATTACK?????

I know that you have probably heard this before but what you are experiencing is panic attacks.Trust me,I speak from years of the same exact symptoms.The anxiety causes a 'flight or fight response" which feels especially horrible when you are in the quiet with no distractions and everybody else is asleep at 2 am.Have you spoke with your Dr about it? I was always afraid to take meds.I finally decided that nothing could be as bad as what I felt,no matter what the pills did.I take Effexor XR now and if I start feeling nervous or stressed. I take a Klonipin (klonopin).I haven't had an attack in a few years now.Please,ask for help.You will be so very glad that you did.Keep us posted on how you're doing and if you need someone to talk to who understands,just send me a message.It does get better,I promise.

it may not sound normal to alot of people but for people with anxiety and panic attacks this is the norm,scary horrible you name it thats what it is,as above i dont like taking meds and i still havent after 3 years i just use herbal remedies,go to see your doctor so he can discuss things with then go from there.

let us know if they give you any type of medicine, just make sure and tell is what they give you. the last thing you want is a long ridea with benzos n ainti depressents. i did everything i could do stop axiety and months later addicted to klonopin and zoloft.
