I have been on Fluoxetine for 8 weeks

My Fluoxetine was increased from 40 mg to 60 mg two weeks ago because I was still have panic attacks and a nervous feeling in my stomach. So now I have been taking Fluoxetine for 8 weeks total. Since the increased dose I have noticed for the past four days that I get a shivering feeling inside. I know that sounds weird, but that's the best way I can describe it. My doctor said two weeks ago if this 60 mg increased dose didn't work for me then she was going to switch me to Celexa. Any advice on this? If I switch now do I go all the way back to the beginning having panic attacks every day until the correct dose of Celexa is found? I've cut out all caffeine except for one cup of coffee in the morning, I am following my diabetic diet strictly, I bought a stair-climber to exercise and reduce stress and anxiety, I am lifting 3 pound weights also five times a week. I have been doing all this and I'm still just slightly anxious. Does anyone else think I should hang in there a little longer or just switch to Celexa?? If anyone is on Celexa please tell me how this medication is for you.

Thanks!!

I am a proponent of taking medications as long as it is combined with talk therapy.  Remember, there is no magic pill that will cure your anxiety.  Only by talking it through with a mental health professional and learning about it will you gain any long term relief in my opinion.

SSRIs like Prozac and Celexa affect different people in different ways.  I experience side effects when changing dosage, starting, or stopping them.  Anxiety can also play a roll in how you feel while taking these because you are already nervous.  You are doing the right thing by staying in consultation with your doctor.  If the side effects are not too bad, why not give it a chance?  It is all up to you though; keep us posted!
