I suggest you try get over your shyness slowly, perhaps you can try have more discussions with people, smile and be friendly and warm. As for stress, a good way to get rid of stress is exercise, jog around the block or swim a bit daily. It might be difficult at first, but soon you'll get the hang of things (: If you still feel very shy and anti-social, maybe go back to the psychiatrist and inform them how you feel. Hope it helped
