Hi everyone! im new in this site so im hoping somebody here can help me with my situation or maybe i can get some advice or ideas from you all. Ive been dealing with weird feelings all over my body for more than 5 months, its so hard fpr me to explain everything that im dealing with so i will mention all my symptoms: Lump in throat feeling 24/7, sometimes it feels like mucus, sometimes like a golf ball, its a horrible feeling having this lump in my throat for so long, I also have dysphagia, i cant eat solid foods for nothing it seems like the food doesnt want to come down from my throat and it gives me the feeling of chocking, I went from 112 pounds to 93 pounds so im iving practically in vitamins and liquid food for all this months, I feel constant pressure on my face starting in my left temple down to my jaw with tingling all over my face, but the pressure its the worse! its like the nerves in my face are hipersensitive, feels like spider webs in my face! i also feel like if somebody its pulling my toes out from my right leg, brain fog, fatigue, eye pain with blurre vision, i feel like dizzy and weak, sometimes after i eat i get chest pain or esophageal pain, im belching like crazy even after drinking some water, stuffy nose, tightness in my throat and chest, sometimes shortness of breath, stomach issues, my lips feels like they are burning sometimes, my head feels heavy that I just want to rest in a pillow, and because all of this im also suffering from anxiety and panick attacks every single day! internal tremors, sometimes I feel electrical shocks coming from my upper teeth and last just for seconds, lower back pain, leg pain, contant throat clearing, irritability, sore throat, and the list go on and on, I went to several doctors incluiding specialist like GI, ENT and INTERNIST, with no luck on founding what I have, I have done to many tests incluiding: MRI in brain which came back normal, CT SCAN in throat everything was fine except for a sinus infection or something like that, several blood tests the last one my WBC was so high i don't even know why, and my vitamin D levesl low, magnesium low, and phosphorous low, thyroid levesl normal, Thyroid ultrasound normal, EKG normal, ECG normal, Endoscopy normal, no acid reflux or nothing , Laryngoscopy normal, Chest xrays normal, throat xrays normal! Everything looks normal but I feel horrible every single day! with all this neurological issues in my face and the lump feeling with dyspahagia! The last doctor I went to told me I should check with some allergy test, but I don't know if all of this could be allergy relate because i keep changing my diet and I even change location by moving to a dif state, sometimes I think im suffering from a neurological issues but I don't know what kind, because I don't know if anxiety can cause all of this weird horrible feelings, sometimes I think its maybe Lyme if it wasn't for the Mri I would think I have MS, or LPR?, or globus hytericus? or fibro? or high anxiety? or an immune system issue?? . I just don't know! The medication im taking its nexium 40mgs in the morning and 40 mgs at night thinking that maybe was Gerd, and sometimes when im feeling really really bad I take a 1/4 of Xanax but that its once an a while because I don't want to get into this type of meds, im also taking Vitamin D, electrolytes, and omega 3, just in case and lots and lost of green juices, I also start with a gluten free diet, but seems like nothing helps with my issues not even the Xanax, the only thing the Xanax its doing its keeping my anxiety down but doesn't last and all the weird feelings come back! I don't know what to do next, i have already spend thousands of dollar, with no health insurance, with no results, its so frustrating! my next bet its a Neurology? and a speech pathology to help me with my dysphagia. Does anybody have any ideas what this could be or try next! please I really want my life back, im in tears writing all of this, Im just walking in the darkness and I don't even know what to try next but I need help really bad. My heart and prayers goes to you all. Thank you for reading!
Do you notice that when you take Xanax that the sensations you have go away ? If that is the case it is very likely you have anxiety. The symptoms you mentioned can be from anxiety as I have experiences similar ones myself and not being completely sure of what is going on doesn't help. Has there been anything stressfull going on before these symptoms occurred ? That could have brought upon the anxiety and sensations but sometimes anxiety can come even when things appear calm. If the tests came back normal I would put my bet on this being anxiety,
Hello, I know what your going thru. I have been dealing with extreme anxiety for thirty years. I have every symptom under the sun. I have everything you can imagine. I have blurred vision, stomach pain, tingling all over, sweating, feeling like I'm not hear in my head, clogged feeling on one side of my head, feeling like I'm falling down all the time, sweating palms, feel like I'm being electrocuted, everything you can imagine. I feel like I am dying everyday of my life. I have had a complete work up and they say It is anxiety. I hate living in fear 24/7. I used to take adivan as needed' It's what works for me, but the doctors don't want to give it to me. so they started me on celexa. I still feel like crap. It is hell trying to go to work everyday feeling like your going to drop dead at any moment.
Anxiety most likely. I've been dealing with anxiety for about 11 months now....brought on by a health scare. It *****. Xanax for me as needed. I've had all kinds of weird symptoms....weakness, shakes, brain zaps, and of course the anxiety hits that make you feel like your brain just left your body - extreme despair etc.
very strange question, but ...... do you have a lot of OLD fillings in your teeth???
old fillings contain mercury and some of your symptoms mimic that of mercury poisoning. i think after going through all the specialists and tests that you have my next stop would be a GREAT dentist. it cannot hurt, right???
also, being low in all those vitamins WILL make you feel horrible. you have to try and make sure you are getting the correct doses in food if possible.
if all that fails..... have you seen an endocrinologist?
Thank you guys for answering to me! It's been a hell of a ride with my health lately and now today I woke up with a terrible sore and swollen throat it hurts even to swallow my own saliva! Geez! It's one thing after another with me! I just wish I could feel normal again and eat again like a normal person without using a blender to survive! I went 2 months ago with a psychiatra because I was dealing with so many panic attacks that just like jpinmaryland said mine was brought on by the worries and stress of not knowing what It was that horrible lump feeling and the feeling of my food getting stuck everytime I eat, so yes I was in a big time anxiety and panic attacks because of that, the psychiatra gave me ativan too it didn't help then klonopin but it gave me the worse side effects ever so I quit both of them I also took valium but any one of them was helping me with my anxiety not even with the lump and my swallowing so I didn't saw any sense on taking them, the only thing was helping with my anxiety no with the swallowing was xanax Michigan07, so I just take that as need it, I just wish I could know if a high anxiety can mess with my swallowing I just can't eat anything my throat feels tight and the lump feeling its horrible! So everytime I eat I get into panic cuz the food doesn't want to go down and it gives me the feeling that it's stuck in my throat! It's just hard to believe that anxieties can cause so many issues in our body, maybe like so many anxiety fellows it's hard for me to accept that it's just anxieties. I do have fillings in my molars for 3 or 4 years, It is any blood test for a mercury poisoning?? I also jinx_777 though on a endocrinologist I would check on that! I just need to put my health back again it's horrible seen myself in bones and feeling so ill every single day, I want to eat, I want to stop feeling always bad, it's so much pain it almost makes me feel like I've been torture every day! I feel horrible for all the people going through the same as me, unfear I can't believe you are going through the same thing as me for so long! I'll pray for all of us to beat this illness! I have one more question if anybody knows, they said you can control anxiety by doing relaxation and cbt and all that but it's such a thing about "organic anxiety" something that it's not brought on by your thoughts and it's more like an illness?? I've done so many therapies of all kind for anxiety but I think my anxiety it's coming from something else more than controlling my thoughts and relaxation, sometimes I feel my nerves are totally out of control and I don't know how to heal them, like the tingling in my face or my toes, it's kind of weird and more when they come out of the blue even when I think I'm relax! I make sense?!
