I need help understanding my daughter PANDAS diagnosis?

My daughter is now 2.5 years old and has suffered from Strep throat for all most a year and a half.  After her first birthday we were told she had strep it was completely a surprise, she was unsymptomatic and after 9 months straight on antibodies she was resistance to all the antibodies we had tried.  She ended up the fagile the stomach infection from taking so many different antibodies; we finally had her tonsils and adenoids (adenoids) removed right before her second birthday.  Since then she had gotten progressively worse in her behavior.  We took her to the doctor last week and her doctor suggested she had PANDAS and checked her for strep again, she was positive.  We are on our first round of antibodies but not sure if they have helped or not yet.  Her behavior is much improved we have only had one temper tantrium this week when we were avg. two a day, and since her surgery at the end of July she had slept in our bed but this entire week she slept in her bed 11 hours straight with no problems.  Her symptoms to agree with the diagnosis is severe separation anxiety , difficult to reason, compulsive argumentative behaviours, and defiant behaviours along with the strep.  If anyone could please give advice how to treat the strep, on antibodies, probotics to repair the brain damage being caused, other diagonsis to consider. This is new to us and our doctor not sure who to seek additional professional help from. thanks for any information.
