I totally agree with cj that you need to see your OB/GYN. Only your doctor can give you the facts about these types of meds and pregnancy. The doctors on these forums can give you their professional opinion, but they cannot tell you to alter or stop any medication you have been prescribed. That would put their license at risk. You need to address these questions to the doctor who is going to be giving you prenatal care.
I wish you the best

hi marisa well i have anxiety and have had 3 children, anxiety should not stop you becoming a mum, when i found out i was pregnant with my 3 year old i was on beta blockers and the doctors told me to come of them asap.. i tried and tried and my heart rate just were banging , i run out of them at 3 months pregnant so went to doctors for some more he refused to give me anything,i cried and ran out, and from that day i have not had any ...that was in 2006, i bought some drops from boots rescue remedie and you put 4 drops on your tounge when you feel worked up.. dont know if they worked really but better than nothing!!!
i knew i had to get a grip and tackle this head on , as i had no choice , and it worked dont get me wrong i felt panicky at times but i git threw it, and i have had another baby since, and now pregnant again, good luck !!!
me and my partner want to try for a baby, but i have major anxiety and cant work or go to shops really, so she is so nervous about it, saying if we did get pregnant id need to find a job and work and get the baby things, but the thing is, i can't, sometimes i can barely leave the house never mind get a job! i have talked about it with her but she doesn't seem to understand i can't do that, at least not right now in my life.. anyone else have this problem? or any advice? i think we need to wait, but neither of us want to.... :(
hi
Thanks for your response. Would the doctor on these forums be able to answer my question?
Thanks!
M
I think that should be a question for your doctor. There are varying opinions on it and the best thing to do is seek the advice of a professional. Sorry not to be much help on this!
