I'm not sure whats wrong with me but I figure it could be something to do with anxiety.
Whenever I'm faced with a social event I feel worried that I won't be able to be social and because of this I go to any social event finding it hard to start conversations with people. I feel that I'm awkward around people. I'm completely fine when I'm socializing with my friends because I feel like I can talk through them to other people. I don't have a job at the moment due to the fact I can't be bothered meeting and greeting new people, it seems like such a hassle getting to know people.
Social anxiety is a pretty commonCommon cold form of anxiety in my opinion. If you read many of the posts here you will probably see many similarities in your experience with this. Have you always been shyMultiple system atrophy/nervous in big groups of people? Have you suffered from anxiety in the past? Anxiety can be a real big pain in the you know what, but it is VERY 'treatable' with understanding and the willingness to confront it even thought it can be very confusing and scary; especially in the beginning....welcome to the community and I encourage you to use this forum and continue to express your experiences and your questions!
Good Luck!
