I'm scared of my mother in-laws anxiety

PLEASE Help me! My mother inlaw suffers from anxiety she's been on Zoloft for sometime but I dont think its helping. She gets stressed out very easily and over the tiniest things. She constantly lashes out at my husband and I it's always when we offer her help so she can sit down and relax, or when something doesn't go her way she lashes out like a child, has a tantrum or cries histericaly. I don't know what to do. These out bursts of her's are stressing my husband and I out to the point where we are getting into arguments. And the thing is there is no talking to her about this cause it gets her all worked up. And its not like she flips out on everyone its mostly my husband which I can't understand my husband is a very quiet person. These out bursts occur about 2-3 times a week. It really scares me when our son is in the presence of these out bursts because I'm not saying she would hurt him or any of us its the verbal abuse, the screaming, the yelling. We've tried to kinda escape to our room because we live with them for the time being but she sometimes follows us and continues the burst and in the end tries to turn it around to make it be our fault that she was all upset. I really do love my mother in-law but i'm terrified and I don't know what to do!

Direct her attention to us so she can talk to all of us and ask questions maybe we can help her here just by talking or maybe if she just reads what others are saying it will make her feel better. Secondly move out it's hard living with parents I just moved from my parents after being there 4 months I thought I was going to go crazy and maybe I kind of did. Good Luck

She most likely may need to be re-evaluated by a psychologist for different medicine.   I really do not think Zoloft fits her condition!
