Input on Klonopin?

I am still trying to regulate Klonopin into my life. Its been about 2 weeks and I am having trouble taking it 2x's a day as it makes me feel a lil sleepy & off. Faint headache as well.  I know it has not yet built up in my system as I had a severe panic attack on the expressway yesterday. I still need to take xanax here & there to keep me calm at times.
Any suggestions or feedback on the medicine?

I take 1.5mg x 2 a day and have no trouble at all with it. They used it and valium to get me off of xanax. Maybe it just me. But I have never felt tired on it at all. Maybe the xanax with it is making you tired? Who knows. But try stick with it. It is better for treating 24/7 anxiety conditions. Once it does settle down into your system.

I take 1mg 2 tines a day. After a dew weeks the tiredness goes away

Did any of you experirence light headaches at 1st or a little increased anxiety?
I have had both since starting and like I said before i swear my vision is a little off or maybe thats just from the anxiety. Mornings I wake up now & fear leaving for work.  I go to work only to count down the hrs I can get out and go home....this is so not how to live!

Can someone please answer....can Klonopin cause vision distortion & possibly more anxiety?

For me it was the opposite. I was extremely more mellow. In terms of vision I was a bit more spacy at first so that would cause me not to focus on things. Talk to your doc because a benzo is supposed to relax you not make you more anxious

My dr actually told me today to go back to the xanax. She suggested .50mg BID so its a little constant in my system.  Still a low does but this does seem to be a god send to me. I hear all the horror stories about addiction but without it lately it has been a horror as well. .

I was on the klonopin for 10days .25mg, my dr said I didnt need to ween off as its too new and i am taking a benzo to offset. Is this true?
Im a little anxious about withdrawl (withdrawal) from it....

The chances of you being dependent on Klonopin after 10 days is highly unlikely, but not impossible.
One Benzodiazapine can help offset the withdraws from another, but not completely because they all have different mechanisms of action.
The Klonopin would be the one to better the Xanax withdraws, not the other way around.

You didnt give the Klonopin enough time to work correctly, it takes 14-21 days.
It also less likely to cause tollerance withdraws.
Did you do any crossover/ transition from the Xanax to Klonopin?
Or did you simply switch, and take Xanax every ove and a while?

How long did you take Xanax for?

I was still taking about .25mg of the xanax as well.
like 15 yrs ago when i 1st started having panic attacks i took klonopin & I did not feel like I did this time around. My vision distorted faint headaches nasusa and it seemed like my anxiety was increased.
Yesterday i didnt take it at all (klonopin) and i did notice a faint headache but my anxiety level much better. Im going to see how it goes on the xanax then if this doesbnt work i can always try again
