8 daus later nothing has changed except i cant stand up,walk up stairs without getting dizzy lightheaded an my heart rate goung mad!!!im pretty fit usually.thanks again jen x
Some advice for anyone who is comming off the drug inderal la 80mg,consult with your doctor and ask them if gradually coming off the drug is the best way,i have had some pretty bad pulpatations stopping cold turkey and it really doesnt help if u are an anxious person any way!!!
Well i think its getting better, its worse when i wake up,maybe because its on my mind!
Still sensitive, still very aware of the throbbing, but i feel less sick now, things r getting better five days later hmmmm, was it a combanation of being hyperawre of my heart and my body adjusting.hopefully i will feel normal soon, feels close!:-)
Tell me about it. That's why I love this place!
Thanks jen.the good thing has to be that in every other way i feel soo much better than before i stared taking the inderal!so it literally could be worse which i think is why i am taking the symptoms for what they are and not freaking out too much, pretty sure each day is better than the last if only slightly.thanks again for ur comments,it really helps having someone respond to ur problems as it it really hard to explain to people that know u as fit/healthy/happy when u look the same!!!:-)
What an awful way to wake up! I am so glad you were able to go back to sleep though! Good job recognizing your heart throbbing for what it was. Remember, every day, every minute that passes is a minute/day closer to being done with these awful withdrawals. You can do it! Jen
Was woken up this morning with my heart throbbing thro my chest along with really hard random beats!!i was asleep!!heart rate must of been 150 pm resting, soo strange, went to sleep feeling better!doesnt seem right at all! :-(
Thank you for your update. Its good to know as I take Inderal as well so I know if I ever have to come off I will have an idea of what to expect. Hang in there and hope it gets better very soon for you. I am very happy you got right into the doctor. Keep in touch
Thank you so much for letting us know. I'm glad the doctor thinks that it's just the medication, but I am still sorry you have to go through any withdrawals at all! Hang in there! Jen
Been to see the doctors, he seems to think that the body takes time to adjust after taking the inderal, they would only be concerned if this continues for weeks!!hopefully all will be ok,i will keep updating how i feel and how it goes, bacically its like a withdraw from the drug and this is after two months of taking it.!
Thankyou guys, ive taken the day off work today, first time in five years!!i will hopefully get to see a doctor today, obiously anxiety could make this problem worse but im clam and have a clear head,i will post any result from the docs, thankyou for ur support guys!
I think I would see your doctor to make sure that there is nothing else going on. I am unsure of the withdrawal symptoms of beta blockers and it is better to be safe. I know you will notice a difference in your pulse as I take Inderal and my pulse is avg 51, if I forget a pill my pulse goes to 60-65 and to me it feels like its pounding although it isnt. But the pound and pressure sounds rough so please get it checked. Good Luck and let us know how you are.
Maybe call your doctor or the pharmacist and let them know. They could probably tell you if this is something to be concerned about. Usually Walgreens has a 24 hour pharmacist on call, 7 days a week so you wouldn't have to wait until tomorrow. They can tell you if the symptoms you're having are consistent with withdrawl from beta blockers. Good luck. Keep us posted. Jen
Weird thing is if im led down or sat down i feel fine, normal but when i stand pressure in pulse becomes fifty times worse!!!
