Yeah that did really help! Thanks for the information :)
This might be late, but I recently was told I had anxiety and I was baffled that I would hyperventilate even when I am calm or just watching tv. However, I realized (and the doctor explained) that even though I am not actively thinking about stress inducing things, I am still subconsciously worrying about them or have a subconscious awareness of of those thoughts hence my panic attacks. Hope this helped.
Thank you for bringing up this topic. I am a recent sufferer of anxiety due to a traumatic event in my life. I feel like I am finally moving on with things things but I still feels the symptoms of anxiety such as tension headaches, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and nervous stomach. Anytime I start to recall the event that started this, the symptoms all start flooding back. Whenever I start to feel these symptoms coming on, I take a few deep breaths and pre-occupy myself with something else.
Thank you very much for sharing your anxiety experiences. Its good to know other people have the same problems. Thanks again! :)
The mild and common forms aren't. It's autonomic dysfunction. Lots of info on medhelp.
what is ans disfunction, is it dangerous?
My anxiety is caused by ans dysfunction. So I sometimes have symptoms of anxiety way before anxiety feelings.
I had anxiety all my life without even realizing I had it ,until 2 years ago when I had a stressful life situation and it came out like a beast left me with a full blown attack and horrible episode, now that Im aware of my anxiety I think back to my past experiences when I would pull up to work, and my heart would start pounding for no reason, my legs would wobble and Id feel anxious for no reason, Ive done this job for 10 years why on earth would i get nervous about that, but my body did that automatically...so yea you can be anxious when ur perfectly calm, even when Im happy i get anxious...weird
no worries
