Is there a Anxiety med that helps loose the weight I gained from being on buspirone?

I am 31 I got diagnosed with anxiety when I was 28 and they put me on buspar now I am on buspirone and I have gained so much weigh no matter how much I diet and workout I can't loose. Please help I feel worse now I need something that is gonna help me loose weight and my anxiety?

Oh, I should add, stopping the medication, properly under supervision, you should drop the weight gained on any of these meds.

Buspirone is buspar, isn't it?  And from what I've heard and read, it doesn't work.  The benzos don't make you put on weight, but they are addictive and hard to quit once you're on them.  ssris can work for anxiety, but also generally cause weight gain and have their whole complex of side effects and difficulty quitting, too.  Question is, how bad is the anxiety?  If it's way bad, well, you may end up on medication and have to deal.  But first, try therapy, try natural remedies, try meditation, after my experiences I would only try meds after I exhausted everything else.
