Hello, I am new to this forum and have a few questions. I am so stressed right now and my anxiety is through the roof. My problem is that I am a hypochondriac, and always think that I have some disease. My friends and familyBirth control and family planning Choosing a primary care provider Ewing’s sarcoma Family troubles - resources think its funny and I see no humor in it at all. I have tried to take anti depressents, but they do not work. I have bad side effects.
Any way I am really worried right now about having ms. The only symptoms that I have is the tingling, And I can feel it all over but am convinced its more on my left side. I have thought this before and my doctors have said I dont have it. You would present other symptoms. I have had exstensive blood work and all has come back normalNormal saline flush. I am going to the doctors tomorrow. I want to request an MRI, but feel stupid. I constantly worry all day long. I have to littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys ones that I take care of (6,4)and I don't want them to see me like this. Can Anxiety really make your body off the wall? When I wake up in the morning I feel alright, then as the day goes on forget it. Does anyone out there cause themselves all day anxiety.
You have come to the right place!!!! If you read the posts you will see a commonCommon cold thread with all of us...Many of us are hypochondriacs...Many of us thought we had/have MS. Many of us have the tingles....and yes....we feel this way all day long!!!!
You are not alone in your struggle and here we share our fearsFears and phobias as well as acomplishments! Since you have had extensive work at the doctor's, it definitely seems like it is anxiety related. I also insisted once that I wanted an MRI and my doctor gave in, knowing my mentalMental retardation Mental status tests state at the time...but see what your doctor says...
Best to you and keep us posted. I am sure others will respond about the medication issue you had. I can't help you there. because paxil has worked for me.
Ya, I was that way for 13 years after my dad died I was turning into a hypercontrac. I went to doctors, spealist you name it. I wasted 13 years of my life couldn't focus on anything just afraid of death. I was so misrable it was bad. I have to boyz and I didn't want them to see me like that. I was worried 24 hours a day . I still get anxiety. One day I said to myself I have 2 boyz I have to take care of and they are seeing there mom upset and I can't do this anymore Im seeing a councelor and it helps me out so much tell them my fear and I walk out of there feeling good. Believe me I know where you are coming from we all work as a team here and everybody will make you feel good for yourself. I love this forum. Take care and if you need someone to we are all here looking out for each other.
am having the tingling now in my ears and head its anxiety/stress my body shakes in side , it does crazy things to you . relax try not stress makes it worse i know am doing it now.
I know exactly how you feel. I think the internet is the worse thing when dealing with new symtoms. I first had weird twitches throughout my body. I thought it was nothing cause I drank excessively on my Mexico trip. I googled "muscle twitches" on the internet showed so many diseases especially MS. I freaked out completely and couldn't stop thinking about it. I did some blood tests and my doc said everything is fine but too relax. He said its from stress. Of course I didn't believe him. I have had some crazy symtoms ever since I check it on the net such as"feeling of unreality", tingling, and buzzing in the feet. Deep down inside I think its just from stress/anxiety but I feel like a total hypcondraic. On the internet they classify it as "cybercondriacs." Usually people that check symtoms on the net excessively (like me) around 2-4hrs a day. I was never like this before, but the last three weeks were the worst for me. I'm seeing a neurologist on Tuesday, so we'll see what happens. HOPE EVERYTHING IS WELL. KEEP POSITIVE.
That sounds just like me. For the past 3 weeks I think I've been to every symptom checker on the internet. It's got to be the absolute worst thing to do and makes me even more scared than before. As a matter of fact that's how I found this wonderful site.....the only good thing I discovered while trying to diagnose myself. lol Juddan
I understand exactly what you are saying, My mother says she has never had a panic attack. Some of my friends have anxiety, but no to the level that i have it. Right now I have heart palipatations, and always shortness of breath, scared all the time, i am completley afraid of death. So I am always trying to find cures for ailments that I don't have. (just in case) I get mad at myseld all the time. I think what the hell is my son gonna think of me. What if my husband leaves me, and my mother dies, I can't make it on my own.Thank God I am in couseling. As like you I have not been successful with medication. I am on nothing. (freaking out bad all the time). I am thankful everyday for this forum, and the normal people in this forum with real issues. I tired of people saying relax its ok. ( I think if it was soo easy to do I would have done that sooo long ago.

Hah, crazy. While I was driving in the car I was wondering if I had MS or something like it today. Damn that occasionally tingly sensation, just keep breathing. I find it helps a lot!
I'm also a total hypochondriac. Of course I'm pretty stupid too. Why? Because I'm a hypochondriac and I like to watch that t.v show House. Such a great mix.......a show about abnormal medical symptoms which can lead to death plus a hypochondriac watching it. I think it does cause anxiety in me, but its too good, and I'm not going to stop watching it.
