Is this anxiety?

I'm a 51 year old, currently non-smoking female, overweight and on two prior occassions I had heart attack type symptoms, shortness of breath and/or chest/arm pain.  On both occassions I was hospitalized, stress test (passed) and had a cath done the first time which the doctor said was "pristine" (2003).  the last stress test was in March of this year.  No explanation and although I have had a lot of stress in my life in the last 10 years, I was not feeling anxious at the time.  

For about 4 days I have a feeling of pressure in my chest (like when you are getting a chest cold)  It comes and goes and today I felt a sudden sharp pain in the center of my chest which shot out to my finger tips of my right arm and hand.  It only lasted a few seconds.  I have also off and on had this feeling that my jaw is tight, like I must be clenching it.  Again, I am not feeling anxious about anything.  But given my good reports on the heart front, I just don't know what to think.

Any comments?

The pressure in the chest can definitely be from anxiety.  But I don't know about your other symptoms.  It is possible it can be stress related, but I would call the doctor and let him know your symptoms.  I don't want to alarm anyone (especially those with anxiety!)  but it is better to be safe than sorry!  Best to you and wish you well.

yes plz have it checked could be anxiety but you never know. the jaw thing i have heard about with woman heart attacks not meant to scare you but do call your dr.
