Is this palpitations or something more?

Hello guys. I'm so grateful that I get very nice feedbacks from other users here. I just wanted to ask a question about this.
I recently been feeling flutter in my chest and my heart is seems like pounding but NOT racing just intense heart beat. I also feel it in my throat and I often feel it when sitting down. I don't feel other symptoms or pain when I experience this but this is really bothering. Thanks for the reply

I am almost positive you are experiencing palpitations or PVC's, but I am NOT a doctor and only a doctor can diagnose these issues.
I know it costs much more to see a specialist, but when it comes to your heart, that is exactly who you want checking it out.

I hope you will let me know what he/she says after your appointment this week.

I wish you the best!

Sounds like you're experiencing palpitations or possibly PVC's (premature ventricular contractions) which are benign if you don't have an underlying heart condition. They are very common and virtually everyone has them at some point in their life and many of us have them all the time.

It is also very common/normal to feel these in your throat. (You're actually feeling them in your carotid artery)

Since these have just recently begun (or more likely you've just recently noticed them) I would advise you to see your doctor for a check up. He/she may recommend you see a cardiologist. Please don't let that cause you more anxiety......cardiologists simply have more definitive tests than a PCP.

Keep us posted
