It is possible to combine Saint John's Wort with 5-htp for depression and anxiety?

I am following a natural therapie for gad and depression, My Dr. gave me the following supplements and medications:
1- Saint John's Wort (900mg a day)
2- Colloidal minerals
3- Valerian extract (300mg a day)
4- Cortitrol (cortisol inhibitor, 2 capsules a day)
5- Royal Jelly
6- Homeopathic drops (don't know what it is, 10 drops sublingual 3 times a day)
7- 5-HTP, 100 mg a day

My question is about 5-HTP and Saint John, it is possible to take both together? Dr told me that the dose of 5-HTP is low and that is not a problem to combine.
Any advice?
Thanks

Thanks for your input. In fact my Dr is MD with specialization on Natural medicine from Cuba. I am feeling better today, I have only4 days on the treatment. I am a little sleepy but I prefer this over stay anxious or having a panick attack.
I think the placebo effect is working a little on my case. LOL

The presence of homeopathic drops makes me wonder just what kind of doctor your doctor is. Surely, NOT an MD? The deal with homeopathy is that if you take a very small portion of the thing that is hurting you, your body will start to fight it off and therefore cure you of the big bad thing that is trying to hurt you. Sort of like the flu vaccine gives your body the info it needs to fight off the REAL deal if you are exposed. But, what the heck, if it works for you, it works for you.

Your doctor says mixing is not a problem -but you want US to express an opinion on whether the doc has it right. Unfortunately, there are no doctors here, so no one who is professionally qualified to argue the point.

So, how about a second opinion from another doctor? Maybe a psychiatrist, the kind of MD who is all about the brain, which is where the GAD and depression are coming from in the first place. Sound like a plan?

I hope you'll let us know what you find and, in the end, I hope you are relieved of the GAD and depression -they can be a big burden.
