Joint pain

Hello,

I'm a 28 years old female going through strong depression and anxiety for the last six years. I'm also hypochondriac and overreact to the slightest symptom, thinking I have some terminal illness or that I'm about to die. I've done exams to rule out some diseases even though my general physician didn't require them to be made.

I feel some pain in all the joints of my body and as a hypochondriac I've started thinking I had rheumatoid arthritis. My doctor told me all these pains were related with the huge anxiety I feel. However, once again, to put my mind to rest, I did some blood tests to rule out the main auto-immune diseases which have this sort of symptoms. The results were all negative, thus my doctor told me it was down to my anxiety and hypochondria. On top of that, I was prescribed with an anxiolytic.

I keep feeling pains in my joints all over my body and general fatigue, nevertheless I should mention I'm an active person without any motor difficulty.

My question is: Can this constant extreme anxiety state be responsible for my joint pains, since all my test results came out negative. I would be glad to have someone answering me please.
