Klonapin dosage

by Hazelandie, Sep 23, 2009 10:17PM
I have been taking .5 Klonapin in the am and this seems to have been successful.  But I am anxious about an upcoming event.  Is it typical for people to take .5 in the am and then .5 in the pm?  And will this change in dosage help in the short term? It seems like a guessing game sometimes.

Different psychiatrist dose this differently.  Some say use it as needed, but most will have you take it twice a day regularly.  And as to the short term, I find an increased dose on occasion does help, and this was recommended by my psychiatrist.  But it can also make you tired if you're not used to the higher dose.
