I've tried taking KlonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer(1mg)and Xanax(1mg)once a day occasionally when my anxiety level gets to a point that I just don't feel like dealing with it. It does give me a nice calming sensation.
However, when I try taking it for stressful situations (like dr's appointments and waiting for test results) it doesn't seem to do much for me. I'm just as nervous and anxious. Aren't these anti-anxiety meds supposed to take care of these problems? Did my doctor give my sugar pills??? Is the dose I'm taking too low for these stressful situations? Any thoughts?
Thank you for your encouraging words. I don't want to sound like a baby. I know there are people in this world who are suffering much, much more than I am. I've tried distracting myself and to not worry so much but I still worry like crazy. It's like I can't turn it off! Anyway, I will talk to my doc about taking a higher dose. I don't take these meds everyday so a higher dose every now and then, I think, would be okay.
i take klonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer and it works but it wouldnt work when i was really hyped up so i take it at 2 designated times a day so it stays in my sytem and that has made a diffrence try that then you wont have to take 2 diffrent meds
Take it a few days before the appt.
It doesn't really help as much as needed.
If its heart rate that bothers you, you could ask your doctor about a beta blocker for stressful situations.
Thank again!
