Klonopin withdrawls

I have been on Klonopin since Jan 01 and have tried to get off several times.  I have cut back from 2 mg a day to .25 a day and then last Wed. stopped totally - Did great until the weekend - was grumpy - today I have had a constant Panic attack since I woke up.........HELP

I would go back on the .25 mgs and stabilize.  Then I would cut 1/2 of that and stay there for a month or longer.  Then try to go off.  If that is too much you can cut the 1/4 pill into another half and stay there a month or longer.  My Dr. even says to hold 2 months between cuts if you need to.  The slower the better.

I think I would have went from 2mg to 1.5mg then to 1mg and then .5mg and then .25mg......gradually.  2mg to .25mg seems to be too much too soon :(
