I was a Klonopin user for 8 months. From all my research, any benzo medications that is taking for more then 2 weeks daily or off and on is considered an addiction and the person using benzo meds will experience withdrawals once off the medication.
So if you have been taking 2 or 3 pills a week for 2 years, it would be considered an addiction. And if you are experiencing withdrawals when your not taking the medication, then your system is in tolerance withdrawal, relieved by increasing med dosage. Or you can taper/stop the medication and allow your body to heal.
