No biggie, but Lindsey Buckingham is a he. And it was Stevie Nicks who had the klonopin problem, but a whole lot of other drugs as well, and it was a long time ago. I know this isn't very relevant, but what can you do?
Be careful with Klonipin. Lindsey Buckinham of Fleetwood Mac has written about how dangerous this medicine was for her.
I agree. NAMI & DBSA have free support groups.
I'm also on kolonopin .5 mg and it does help to calm my anxieties. I take it 3 times a day once in the morning with all of my other antidepressants and again around lunch and then at night time with my sleeping medications. As far as not being able to find the help from a doctor until you get into see one, there are several 800 numbers that help with counseling on internet you just have find the right one. If you have insurance call them and tell them to find one right away for you that can get you in immediately. Now as far as the agoraphobia and mention that and there might be some groups that help and can put you on a speaker phone to listen into their group. There is a website called NAMI and they have helped me find group meetings. If you would like to walk your 5 year to the bus stop, they usually think they are super heroes at sometimes and if you mention and ask for their help it might help and ask him to pretend like you are in a giant bubble and to protect you from anyone wanting to pop that big bubble that is magical. Children that age have a great imagination. I also use to be very reclusive and only go out for groceries at between 12am-5am when I knew nobody would be there and if got scared I have even hidden in a rack of clothes temporarily until I thought the coast was clear. So I hope this helps I can relate to what you are going through.
Don't ask us, ask your psychiatrist. I will reassure you, though, that 1mg twice a day is a normal dose, but also warn you that this drug taken this way is addictive and very hard to stop taking, so if you can find a way while this is calming you down to handle this with therapy and relaxation techniques so you can stop taking this on a regular basis and move to an as needed basis it will be better. But you gotta do what you gotta do, you just gotta do it in concert with your psychiatrist so any special circumstances can be considered.
