ok so i have definetely been suffering with anxiety been breathless for ages and coming to terms with that but just as i do i get sharp aching leg pains not constantly but they are there enough. Can anxiety give me these pains just want to check i did go to see doc who said it was fine, However this is prob anxiety but i feel i have been to docs so much that whatever i go there with at the moement they are gonna kind of dismiss it. My leg isnt swollenSwollen glands or tender just have sharp intermittent pains and sometimes a ahe had it for about a month. Does anyone else get this and should i be worried? Also they arn't majorMajor tears Major-gesic pains but are there xx
I've been having the same problem, aching leg pains, not everyday. My doc doesn't think its anything i should worry about but I've gotten panicPanic disorder Panic disorder with agoraphobia attacks thinking the worst is wrong with my legs. I've been dealing with this since last summerSummers eve anti-itch and every time i go to my doctor about it she doesn't seem to worry, says I shouldn't worry. Easier said than done, especially when i've gotten panicPanic disorder Panic disorder with agoraphobia attacks thinking its blood clots or something else.
If your leg(s) is not swollen or tender, then a blood clot is extremely unlikely. You have now just moved your obsession from your breathing to your legs. The doctor who examined you would not just "dismiss" a complaint of leg pain. But with no accompanying symptoms, there would be no medical reason for him/her to put you through expensive and unecessary tests. I'm sure your leg pain is "real," but I would bet there is a non-medical reason for this. Have you taken up an exercise program? Are you walking more than normal? Are you wearing proper fitting shoes? Is there a history of arthritis in your family? Does taking an OTC pain killer help? Think back to when you first noticed the leg pains and see if you can relate it to something around that time. Like painting a room and doing the one legged balance act while stretching to reach that far corner? You may have a simple muscle pull.............but, if it doesn't resolve itself in a few weeks, I'd probably recommend you head back to your docs for another chat and a deeper look at the problem. And yes, those of us with anxiety issues have more aches and pains than anyone else. Have you talked this over with your therapist?

Have you ever injured your leg, during your life ??
Pains cause anxiety cause pain.
