Lexapro, 10mg to 20mg. Weak legs off & on, weird feeling in arms.

Hi, it's been about a week since I was upped my dosage from 10 mg to 20 mg by my doctor. I know the dosage increase has helped with decreasing the anxiety. A couple days after I started taking it, I noticed my legs feeling weak when I walk as well as my arms feeling a bit weird but it has gotten better. From what I read on various websites, leg weakness is normal side effect on some websites and others say I should call my doctor. Just wanted to know if anyone else experience this side effect?

Also, I don't know if this side effect is being caused by me weaning off the .25 Alprazolam that I was taking.

Maybe it's muscle weakness from anxiety and it's getting better now because the dosage increase is starting to work. I guess I'm just seeing if anyone has some insight.

If your doctors are not concerned, then I would tend to believe them.  Remember, in my opinion, when we search for symptoms on the internet we are naturally going to relate them to what we are worried about.  Be very careful with the internet...while it is a great tool, it can also be much more trouble than it is worth in my experience.  For example, I have a headache right now and I could search for causes, some of which could be medical emeregencies...is it very probable?  Nope...I didn't much sleep tongith and work has been busy.  Quite often we tend to ignore the obvious and notice the worst possible outcome to our symptoms....keep on working at it!
