Lexapro Question.

Ive been on 5mg lexapro for about a week now. And the very next day after taking it.. my anxiety symptoms were pretty much all gone.

I don't know if this is psychological.... or if my anxiety spell just lifted and was done...? or if the medicine kicked in a tad and made me feel better?

I suffer from anxiety spells... I didn't have one for 4 months... and this time it started with a panic attack... and after that i had anxiety REAL bad for 2 weeks... crying spells, couldn't sleep, pacing... light headedness... loss of concentration, mind chatter.... terrible.. had to get some extra help.

My question is... is it okay for me to take Lexapro as needed? Like could I wean myself off already after being on it for only 4 or 5 days?

I took Lexapro last year when my spells started... but took myself off of it in January of 07... and have never been back on it sense then.
