Lexapro/Wellbutrin

I had to get off Zoloft that I was on for many many years. It worked wonderfully but I was on and off it again. Upon my last start up it gave my weird side-effects so I stopped it.
My doc got me on Wellbutrin 300mg and I really like it for depression but my anxiety is coming back, maybe more than before.
The doc has suggested Lexapro. Whats your take on Lexapro? I'd really like something that does work.

That is very true. I'll be trying it out this week and will post how it affects me. Wellbutrin definitely helps with most of the depression, adds a little pep, but nothing for anxiety if it does'nt make it worse. Thanks for the reply.

Wellbutrin is a simulating antidepressant, so that might explain your worsened anxiety.  As for whether Lexapro would work, only way to tell is to try it, as we all get different reactions from medication.

I can say that I was on lexapro and it worked well for my anxiety. It gave me one side effect which was having a difficult time orgasming.
