Lorazepam, withdrawal

by Bev19341956, Apr 17, 2009 10:59AM
I have been on Lorazepam oral 0.5mg  up to 3 times a day as needed for 8 months.  For the last month, I have been taking it 3 times daily which my doctor said was OK and it really helped.  Now he says I should cut back to l l/2 pills a day but he didn't give me any information on how to do it gradually.  He just said to get down to  l l/2 pills daily.

I have read that you have to withdraw slowly or you could have serious side effects.  Can you please tell me how to withdraw safely?  Thank you.
