Hi MyID.  You have a significant medical history, one  being the hep c diagnosed only three years ago with current pain in your mediastinum (rib cage area -- probably your liver hurting due to disease.)  Passing out and hitting the ground?  Was this due to your ammonia levels being high?  You have classic signs of complications from liver disease from the Hep .  Are you being followed by a liver doctor?  Are you being followed at ALL for your hep?

You were jaundiced a few years back (very significant -- not good news).  Do you drink alcohol?  If so, you have to put it down or it will kill you.

Have you ever been on any treatment for the hep c?  Geno 3 a would mean ... 24 weeks, or - did they try any treatment.  Have you ever had a liver biopsy ?

I am so sorry your husband passed away.

You have some very serious things going on, all of which I highly suspect are all Hep C related.

I have Hep C.  Geno 1a.  Have been carrying it since the mid 70's; found out three years ago after being worked up for depression, anxiety, and a number of other strange ailments.

There is a very good forum under the gastroenterology section here for Hep C - very good.

Raynauds disease in your Your sister - are you talking about the blood circulation disorder?

Diabetes can be a biggie with Hep C - Hep C create diabetes  (cause it).  What kind of doctor are you seeing?  You are seriously sick.

The pain in that area if your liver - this is not a good sign.
You need to be seen by a doctor immediately (not a family doctor, either -- a specialist).   WIth what you are saying now, I would recommend you go to the ER -- have someone take you or call 911.
